Let Them Eat Cake

Birthday month is a series of events full of fun, family, and friends. I was born the day after Christmas, December 26th or Canadian Boxing Day, so I have been blessed to spend every birthday with my family. Family first!

This year a friend sent me the birthday cake of all birthday cakes. "The Birthday Classic" from Milk Bar is an epic cake. One that would make Marie Antoinette blush.

I got my cake on Christmas Eve and must say that this cake's packaging is first-class. It comes in a white box full of ice packets and is held in place by styrofoam blocks to maintain its shape. The cake comes frozen so the bakery advises customers to defrost it for at least 24-hours.

My family is very health-oriented and generally stay away from sugar. However, on this occasion, we all made an exception and celebrated.

To say the least, this was a memorable birthday.
